For over 50 years, the La Crosse Kiwanis Club has organized a A Day of Fun for People with Disabilities. This unique, fun-filled afternoon includes a full lunch, prizes, bingo, face painting, fire trucks, police car tours, and much more! In addition, through member fund-raising efforts, the Kiwanis Club is able to offer this day FREE to people of all abilities and all ages and their caregivers or family members. Each year the local Kiwanis Club has hosted over 100 people at the event
It Takes a Team!
Each special guest has a volunteer host-helper for the afternoon. Aquinas High School's Impact Club and UW-L's Circle K Club along with other local high school students volunteer as the host-helpers. APTIV helps with the planning, to. This event is open to people with special needs from every part of the Coulee Region. It is the 1st or 2nd Saturday of September.
